Gabriel's interesting fingerprint bumps

Gabriel’s condition has continued its gradual downward slide. His epilepsy increases slightly, and he slowly grows weaker. He is still managing to get some solid food down (at least when mama is managing the show), but that along with sucking on the bottle wear him out, so he gets most of his milk thru the tube.

Cold fusion was a hoax that was dismissed long ago, right? Wrong. An Italian company has already installed some cold fusion units (“E-cat”) that are producing energy. Their big challenge now? The US patent office doesn’t want to grant them a patent, claiming their device is a “perpetual motion machine”. Thanks, guys.

Langzaam achteruit

Gabriel gaat nog steeds langzaam achteruit. Zijn epilepsie is weer iets erger geworden en hij wordt langzaam zwakker. Hij eet nog steeds zijn hapjes (tenminste als mama ze aanbiedt) maar het is te vermoeiend voor hem om dan ook nog zijn fles te drinken, dus krijgt hij vrijwel alle melk door de sonde.

Het idee dat met koude kernfusie energie opgewekt kan worden is toch al lang geleden achterhaald? Nee. Een Italiaans bedrijf heeft al een aantal apparaten (“E-cat”) geïnstalleerd die door middel van koude kernfusie energie opwekken. En wat is nu hun grote uitdaging? Het patentbureau van de VS wil hun geen patent verlenen omdat hun uitvinding een “perpetuum mobile” (voortdurend bewegende machine) zou zijn. Je wordt bedankt, patentbureau!
